Who joins, and what we ask them
Set who may take part, choose the questions the registration form asks, keep the option lists they use, and read a participant’s answers.
Three settings decide who joins and what they tell you. Each change goes into the draft, and you publish it from the settings overview.
Who may take part
Open Who may take part. Set the countries participants live in, When each level starts (the youngest age at each level, from the birthday or the school year), Longer for a medical condition or special need, and Parental consent: the age under which a parent or guardian must agree, and when we ask. All of it stays within the Award’s limits, which the Foundation sets. If those limits change, the page shows what applies now.
Registration fields
Open Registration fields. Asked of everyone lists the fields every form asks, which are always required. For each of the Standard fields, choose Not asked, Optional or Required. Choose who can see the answers, or nobody, so they are only counted in reports. A Sensitive field is never required, and people can always skip it. Write Why we ask, or leave it empty to use the standard words.
Choose Add a question for one of your own: a short text, a longer text, one or more options from a list, yes or no, or a date. Use Preview the form to try it as a participant sees it. Nothing you enter is saved. An organisation below you can add questions or require fields only if you allow it.
Option lists
Open Option lists and choose Add a list. Give it a code and a name in each language you offer, then add its options. A list or option that is published cannot be removed or given another code, so answers keep their meaning. Choose Retire to stop offering it.
A participant’s answers
Open a participant’s answers with Read their answers. You see only what your role may see. The rest says Not shared with your role.
